Can I run 365 X 10 KM

05 May 2014 09:54:00

Only 10K everyday for continuous 365 days. That is the only thing what I am asking from myself.

Thinking about this feat itself gives me goosebumps. There are lot of people around the worlds who must have run 365 marathons a year or 365 long distance running. There could be even many others who would have attempted such a feat of running a minimum 10KM for continous 365 days.

I being a lover of running thought to do it. I have done a 181 days of minimum 10KM in the year 2012. Those days were the fun and joy days. Now I would like to up it from 181 days to 365 days.

Sooner I will be starting this challenge. If I do it it will be a feather in my cap.

It is not easy task a running everyday for a minimum 2KM. It is running 10KM everyday, and the minimum time which it may take everyday would be 1 hour 10 mins with my current fitness level. And to repeat it for everyday for 365 days will be a challenge. If I need to attempt this task I should be in a very good physical condition. I should not be miser to go for massages every month. Food intake should be scanned atleast twice before eating. Because whatever I eat will affect my health and the next day run.

It is a dream. And I feel I should attempt this dream.

Hoping to start the journey soon.

I am just imagining what would I feel if I complete this dream task.

Moral: Hope to do 365 X 10 KM soon

First of all, kudos to you for even thinking of doing this. I know after 365 days you will be looking back at your 365 X 10 KM with pride, and may be planning for 30X365 :P
But, my honest and sincere advice would be to also take care of your muscles and give sufficient amount of time to build muscles which can support this kind of schedule and will guard you against the wear and tear of marathons as your age progresses.

Take care buddy... Just go out and do it.
